Intake Water Screening equipment

Macmet has supplied and commissioned India’s largest volumetric intake system to Coastal Gujarat Power Limited for their 4000 MW Ultra Mega Power Project at Mundra, Gujarat.  10 nos. Traveling Band Screens, 20 nos. coarse screens, along with other equipment have been designed, supplied and installed by Macmet in this project.  Each Traveling Band Screen can handle up to 82,000 cu.m. of water per hour. 

Macmet has received an order from NCC Ltd. for design, engineering, manufacture, assembly, supply, erection, testing and commissioning of 2 nos. Traveling Band Screens, 10 nos. Stop Log Gates, 16 nos. Coarse Screens, 6 nos. Sluice Gates, and other equipment for their 2x660 MW NCC Power Project at Nellore, Andhra Pradesh.

Macmet has bagged several orders in the past six months for supply and installation of traveling water screens, stop log gates, coarse screens for various Power Plant projects.  These include Jindal India Thermal Power, Bajaj Infrastructure Development Co. Ltd., Haldia Thermal Power Project, Kalinganagar MBOP Project (Orissa), Solapur Super Thermal Power Project, and National Capital Thermal Power Project.  Macmet has designed, manufactured and supplied Portal Track Trash Rack for Elmnshiea station at Cairo, Egypt. 


21 km Cross Country conveyor for Heidelberg Cement commissioned

Macmet has commissioned the 21 km Cross Country Conveyor for Heidelberg Cement.  This is the longest troughed conveyor system in the country, consisting of two flights of conveyor, each 10.5 km in length, carrying limestone at 1000 tons per hour.  Heidelberg Cement has also awarded Macmet the maintenance contract for this conveyor system.

Macmet has also been entrusted with the maintenance of the 7 km pipe conveyor supplied to Jindal Power Limited at Raigarh for transportation of crushed coal at 1,500 tons per hour.
