Macmet awarded Order for 4.85 km Pipe Conveyor by GAYATRI PROJECTS:

Macmet is pleased to announce that it has been awarded an order by Gayatri Projects Ltd. to design, engineer, manufacture, supply and supervise the erection & commissioning of a Pipe conveyor system 4.85 km in length, to carry 4000 tph of Coal from Krishnapatnam Port to Thermal Power Plant of TPCIL at Krishnapatnam.

Traveling Water Screens:

Macmet will be supplying JITF Water Infrastructure (of Jindal) 6 nos. Through Flow Traveling Water Screens (to handle 6,750 cu.m. water per hour), Stop Log Gates and Coarse Screens to be installed in the Intake Pump House of the 4x600 MW OP Jindal Super Thermal Power Plant at Tamnar, Raigarh.

Macmet is also supplying Haldia Energy Ltd. 2 nos. Dual Band Traveling Water Screens (to handle 2,640 cu.m. water per hour) and Trash Racks to be installed at the Intake Well of their 2 x 300 MW Thermal Power Plant.

Macmet India has successfully completed supply, erection and commissioning of the 8 km Overland Belt Conveyor system for Limestone transportation from Sindola Mines to ACC Limited’s Chanda Plant under their Chanda Modernisation and Expansion Project.  Macmet successfully tackled a major engineering challenge of spanning of a river 110 m wide by the Conveyor.

Macmet has successfully commissioned the Pipe conveyor supplied as a part of the TAIM WESER package for Miski Mayo Project, for Vale in Peru, South America.

100% supplies have been completed for Coastal Gujarat Power Limited’s water Intake system for 4000 MW Ultra Mega Power Project, Mundra, Gujarat and more than 60% erection completed.  Once commissioned, it will be the largest water intake system in the country.

Adhunik Power & Natural Resources has placed order on Macmet for design, engineering, manufacture, assembly, supply, erection, testing and commissioning of the complete COAL HANDLING PLANT for 2x270 MW M.P. Super Thermal Power Plant at Padampur (Sareikela-Kharsawan) in Jharkhand.

Macmet is building the largest conveyor in India for HeidelbergCement India. It will be a 21 km troughed belt system consisting of two conveyors of +10 km each.  Macmet will design, manufacture, supply, erect and commission the 1000 TPH Overland Belt Conveyors for transportation of limestone from Patharia to Narsingarh at Diamond Cements, P.O. Narsingarh, Dist Damoh, M.P.

Macmet is currently handling the Design, engineering, manufacture, supply, erection, testing and commissioning of Pipe Conveyor for Tata Steel at West Bokaro Colliery, Jharkhand

Macmet is also supplying a Pipe Conveyor to Hindalco Renusagar Power Plant.  Macmet has been entrusted with the design, engineering, manufacture, assembly, supply, erection, testing and commissioning of 660 TPH Belt-Pipe Conveyor system for coal transportation from Krishnashila Mines to existing aerial ropeway system of Hindalco Renusagar Power Plant Division on turnkey basis at Dist. Sonebhadra, U.P.

September’08: Macmet will be designing, manufacturing, erecting and commissioning water screening equipment worth over Rs.7.5 crores for LANCO Infratech Ltd. for the Sea Water Pump House of the 2 x 507.5 MW Udupi Thermal Power Project in Karnataka.

September’08: Macmet will be working with the Railway Business Unit of Larsen & Toubro to design, manufacture, erect and commission the Mould Room Conveyor System and Wheel Final Processing Shop Conveyor System and Equipment for Indian Railway’s Cast Steel Wheel manufacturing plant at Chhapra, Bihar.

February’08: Macmet has entered into an understanding with TAIM-TFG (now TAIM-Weser) for supply of bulk material handling machines like ship loaders, unloaders, stackers and reclaimers. TAIM-TFG will introduce the latest technology in bulk material handling and will complement the technologies in material transportation developed by Macmet. Clients will now be offered a complete turnkey solution for their bulk material handling requirements. Besides providing a complete design, manufacture and supply package for material handling systems, the association will enable clients to enter into contracts for post delivery services and maintenance.

The TAIM-TFG and Macmet association will address Ports, Mining companies, Cement, Steel and Power Sectors.
